A Spring special!

Winter has left us here on the Highveld,
and as one season leaves, another arrives bringing with it
a new set of possible issues for pet owners.

The resident cats at the Victory Park Veterinary Clinic tend to forget
about the changing of seasons as they are well looked after!
But not all pets are as lucky...
An early Spring check-up, vaccinations and de-worming
will ensure that the seasonal transition is handled in a healthy and caring manner.
To make certain that pet owners do not withhold treatments
as a result of financial difficulties,
the clinic is offering the following specials:

Photo:
Valid from 16th September to 16th October...

Photo:
10% off all vaccinations
 for dogs and cats.

Why should you vaccinate and de-worm your pet?
At this time of year, the regrowth of leaves and flowers
also announces the return of insects, frogs, lizards and mice
 from their winter hibernation.
Although these can be endlessly entertaining for your pet,
they could be the cause of an emergency visit to our clinic.
If you take your animal to Delta Park, it might
pick up a case of Kennel Cough, which is easily treatable if caught in time.

The summer rains are expected soon.
With those comes the  possibility of  tick or flea infestations,
which needs to be treated quickly and efficiently.

Last minute holiday? We still have space for your cat.

The latest addition on the property at our clinic.
A cattery that can accommodate 12 cats.
Safety and security is a priority,
hence there is a  lock on the main gate
and sliding bolts between each cage.

The runs are spotless and have both shade and sunlight,
should the cats requires either one or both.
Currently there is artificial grass on both the floor
as well as the roof of the sleeping quarters.

Ladders enable the cats to get up and down...

This cat, one of the current boarders, was to be the model for this photo shoot.
There are two lots of bedding in the sleeping quarters.

The cat had not used the ladder before.
Shown once how to navigate the steps...
after which there was no stopping it going up and down

This cat decided that a sand box in not just a toilet...
It can also be used as somewhere cool to lie.
Each run has food (both wet and dry if required)
as well as fresh water and a litter box.
The cattery has become very popular with those owners
who book in advance for school and public holidays.
Call the clinic on 011 888 2005 to secure a place for YOUR cats.

The practice stocks a range of top quality dog and cat food.
